How do I make and accomplish my plan?
Family-Centered
- Prayerfully Personalize Your Plan – Select your own activities that will help Gather Israel – involve your family and others
- Set Goals and Write Them Down – Use our Family Plan Template to track your progress
- Revisit and Modify Your Plan Monthly– Follow the Spirit and try new approaches – keep it fun and rewarding
Church Supported
- Share Talents and Ideas Monthly – The ward will provide suggestions via the Ward website and will put reminders out each month via email, Gospel Living, GroupMe, and Facebook
- Return and Report – Experiences can be shared in 2nd-hour meetings, and posted on the ward website
- Support Each Other – Ministers are encouraged to ask families what they are doing to Gather Israel. Missionaries and Temple and Family History Consultants will provide support
- Ward Activities – Quarterly events tied to Gathering Israel
- Support for everyone – Specific activities have been identified for our Children and Youth, as well as for those who are more comfortable doing things from their home or online.

Write down your thoughts and pray about what to do next. | Identify a family member with family photos or memories that you do not have. Contact them or make a plan to contact them to discuss family history. |
| ? Easy | Pray to seek inspiration from the Lord about who needs your love, your service, and an invitation to participate in the blessings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Set a goal to reach out to the person who the Spirit identifies. Love, share, and invite in a normal and natural way. | Print a photogaph of an ancestor and hang or display it in your home. Have a conversation with a family member or friend about your ancestors. |

Challenging | Reach out to the full-time missionaries and invite them into your home or via a video call to discuss the principles taught in the video “Love, Share, and Invite.” Decide upon a way that you can help the missionary work move forward through fellowship and sharing your testimony. Set a goal and share it with the missionaries. | Identify a county or city where an ancestor lived for which you are missing genealogical information. Contact organizations in that county or city (clerk’s office, church records, local genealogical socities) to try to obtain the missing information. |
